Potential of Upland Rice Promising Lines in Acid Dry Land at Two Different Seasons

Superior upland rice varieties can be obtained through the plant breeding process. Upland lines that are carried out from crossing have different potentials. The research aims to determine promising with high yields in acid-dry land. study is conducted on Ultisol soil. first season 2019 for F 6 lines, and second 2021 7 lines. experimental methods use factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). treatment at preliminary yield test 5 4 varieties, 1 landrace. advanced uses (selected lines) types. Analysis data ANOVA LSI test. result shows GH8 GH10 highest soils during two planting seasons. GH 10 line has a 7.20-9.53 kg/plot yield, 8 5.22-6.26 kg/plot. potential was of 3.69-4.77 t/ha, more increased than Balok, Banyuasin, Danau Gaung, Inpago 8, PBM-UBB1 varieties. recommended as candidates new superior adaptive soils.
